“No! I ... I can't. I just ...” She sighed and settled against the counter, “Just leave it wi ...” Sammi waved at her to cut her off and then shoved the envelope in her direction. She demanded Rahne read it and that she was not going anywhere until she did. Sammi was not going to stop until she read it and replied. She was so sick of Rahne attitude to stuff like this. It was time for it to stop and she was going to make sure it happened today. Rahne's shoulders dropped and she lowered her eyes in defeat. She was not going to win this argument no matter what and her curiosity was going to get the better of her eventually, anyway. With a low moan, she snatched the red envelope from her friends hand and tore it open. With shaky fingers, she pulled the letter out. She unfolded it and read the contents. My name is Gemma Newey, and I am a writer. Yes, I originally went under the assumed name Faye Tempest Cross, but I felt that it wasn't me any more and I wanted to stop hiding behind it. I love to write and publishing my work has been a thrill, I hope to publish a lot more and I hope everyone continues to read my work, even though I have changed my name. I live and work in the United Kingdom, and I love it here .... even with the constant rain. Hey it can't rain all the time ... right?! I'm married to a wonderful man, and I live with him, my 3 cats, 1 dog and 2 chickens - not a farm just yet. It was my husbands push, as well as some annoying pushing from friends, that finally made me publish my works - and I'm so glad that I listened to them! I love anything goth, steampunk and cyberpunk ... I'm a goth myself, with a steampunk twist. I love goggles ... But what can I saw, I can't help it. I think that's where my love and inspiration of vampires came from! I am currently writing a couple of novel's at the same time. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I decided I should write several books at the same time, but I'm sure I can cope. I have finished and published my first book, its all poetry. It's nice to show how dark my soul has become. I hope my works thrill and excite, make the mind travel to places it never thought it could and amuse. I hope you all like my work, and will continue to be a follower!
