By Cat Giles

New adult fiction, General fiction, Romance | eBook

Book One in The Colour Series. Alex has learned to be resilient. She lives in perpetual fear, forever trying to escape a shadow from her past that continues to stalk and control her. When confident artist Seph suddenly arrives in her life she is forced to look at life differently and beyond mere survival. Can she find the courage to move forward and find happiness or is her destiny truly as bleak and preordained as she believes?

Cat Giles lives near Birmingham in the UK. She works as a self-employed Graphic Designer and has many creative hobbies and interests including writing. As an imaginative child she regularly wrote stories for her friends – one title being Jemmaliza the Fairy, handwritten on parchment paper – and by the age of 12 upgraded to a clunky vintage typewriter, with which she had to quite literally hammer the keys as the old machine refused to print certain letters. Cat has penned several unpublished stories over the years, mostly of a fantasy genre, before finally finding the courage to publish her first contemporary piece of fiction: Blue, The colour that lives in the past. This is Book One in The Colour Series.
