Charcoal Cocktails

By Heather Blank

Poetry | Paperback, eBook

Sit down and have a charcoal cocktail... Darkness with a pink umbrella. ADHD spun into lust, love, and delicious melancholy disguised as raw poetry for the dark at heart.

Heather Blank was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and currently resides 5 minutes from the place of her birth with her son, pug, and 3 cats. Her obsession with poetry began in the fourth grade, when she won her first creative writing contest with a poem that was written during math class. (Definitely symbolic.) She majored briefly in English and gained a degree in cosmetology, all the while creating DIY zines and submitting poems to various outlets for publication, while specializing in single parenting. She is a devout Anglophile, obsessed with books, music, animals, and everything spooky. She often jokes she is a gay man in a goth girl body. Charcoal Cocktails is her formal debut in book form, and far from the last.
