Jeremy and the Chocolate Twecckle

By Dee H Dodgson

Children's | eBook

Do you like chocolate? Jeremy does. He’d eat it for breakfast chopped up in a bowl with chocolate sprinkles on top. He’d have it in a sandwich for lunch and spread it over his potatoes at dinner; if he was allowed! Jeremy is a bear and lives with his human who takes very good care of him but doesn’t allow him too much chocolate. So Jeremy decides to grow his own chocolate tree! When he goes to the nearby woods to try out his crazy plan, he doesn’t expect to see Twecckles living there. He’d always thought Twecckles were imaginary tree creatures made up by silly humans to keep their kids amused, but here they were, very real, with long straight bodies, leafy hands and feet; they looked like branches with arms and legs, most peculiar. So what happened to his plan to grow a chocolate tree? You’ll just have to open the pages and find out!

Wife, daughter, aunt, sister, mother of three & grandmother of four. I love to see children reading; books hold a world of adventure and excitement only found in a child's own mind as they fly though the air on a dragon, or dig tunnels with elves, talk to a tiny bears or make friends with strange and unusual creatures. They will travel to places beyond the boundaries of space and be back in time for tea, such is the precious imagination of the young mind. I believe a child's imagination should be nurtured in love and security and love to write books that are fun, adventurous yet gentle, without the need for fighting, anger or abuse.
