Carpenter), devotionals, an autobiography, and a novel. He is married to Mary Barta Thomas, and they are members of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Virginia Beach. VA. Their son Matthew lives with their daughter-in-law Shannon Mabry in Charlottesville, VA.
