Master Sisyphus and the Saveloy Men

Working in a factory can be murder, literally. What does a saveloy, a bicycle and the Irish countryside have in common? Sausage Heaven, that's what, Britain's premier sausage & saveloy factory. Birmingham Irishman Michael Gibson and his merry band of co-workers are going nowhere fast in life: the monotonous routine is hard for them to bear, but even harder for the bookish Michael, who dreams of a very different life for himself. Things change one day when he gets locked in the factory freezer and a new 'posh' bloke, Sherlock, starts work, changing Michael's life in a way he never thought possible. 'Master Sisyphus and the Saveloy Men' is a black comedy/murder-mystery novel with an ending that puts the twist in the game Twister.

James Dargan was born in Birmingham, England, in 1974. Coming from an Irish background, he frequently writes about that experience. As well as England, he has also lived in the United States, Ireland, and - for the best part of fifteen years - in Warsaw, Poland, his home from home from home.
