Hello, I (Miss Fen W. Gamp) was born in England, but have spent most of my life in Canada. I love, love reading, writing, movies, living in my imaginary world and more... I am a serious writer, which means I spend at least 6months to 2 years on just a single short story. Plus, I write and read in various genres. My self-published books have gone through many re-proofs to get them at the current level. Not always, I often write from the Movie/TV screen playing in my head, like in the book, 'The Secret life of Arnesto (Book 1&2).' This children's fairy tale series (still waiting to be read), is one of a number of original animated films playing in my head and other films, etc.. Other times, I just skip down one of the many corridors in my imaginary world, until I come across an adventure. In the case of 'Harold Phibbs the Trumpeted Fan,' I saw a light in the doorway and stepped through into a scene playing out in the Phibbs living room. Harold Phibbs the Trumpeted Fan is a contemporary, dark, romantic, sports comedy. This novel is largely set in Canada and the United States. (It has been reproofed). Both the 'Teacher's Contract' and 'My First School Fight' are loosely based on my life, so let's say they are both a work of fiction. More stories are coming... including Book #3 in the children's-fairy tale series and more. Enjoy

Hello, this is frustrating. I am simply trying to add the new book covers for my children's books in my already established theme and boy is it a headache! The drop down box doesn't work half the time, meaning it does not open, or the screen freezes countless times. If it does even open, the items inside the theme drop box are jumping all over the place or the screen freezes, so I can't submit all my book covers. Has anybody found an easier way to add the book cover to their existing themes? Also, is there a way of turning off each time I do an activity on the site, trying countless times to do a function. For example, above it says I added a book titled / commented on my book. I did neither, I am simply trying to add the cover to my theme or change the link to Amazon from amazon.ca to amazon.com. All I want to do is add 2 new covers and re-upload another cover, which I had in there before. I am suppose to have a total of 5 covers in my theme. I think this site needs to get more modernized and revamped, its very time consuming. That's just my opinion.
-The reason I changed my children's book cover: the previous cover I think was more suited for an adult book. The pink and green covers I think look better. Again, I didn't comment on anything above, again where is the switch to turn of my mundane activities on the site?

Hi Fen! Top tip: did you know you can add a book to a theme via a more direct route? Simply click the book you wish to add. After opening the relevant book profile, look for the yellow "Add to theme" button below the main book cover. Click this button and "drop" the book into any of the Themes listed in the popup window (in your case, input the words "Books by Canadian Female Writers" to locate the theme you want. Our FAQs page covers all bases. Hope this helps! All best, The iAuthor Team

Sorry I tried to create a theme for Harold by clicking on the bottom, which says create themes. I click on it, only to accidentally find my book has gone into Indie books looking for reviews. My book is not an Indie book! And I am DEFINITELY NOT an Indie author. Sorry I will try to remove it and figure out what to correctly click.
