SAVED IN THE LAST WAVE: A Life of Miracles

By Jennifer Webb

Religion & spirituality, Biography & memoir | eBook

'My spirit was ready to leave my body as I waited for the last wave to send me to my drowning death.' Jennifer T. Webb lived through being swept away into a post-hurricane ocean, in Rincon, Puerto Rico, the surfing capital of the Caribbean. After swimming for her life, caught in a rip tide, she knew when she was going to drown because she was physically exhausted. In the last wave, she had a near-death experience. As she was floating to Heaven, the wave blasted her back into her body, from space. Then she was miraculously rescued and pulled out of that same last wave, as she was descending into a watery grave. Resuscitated back to life with CPR on the beach, she spent a week in intensive care. When she went home, she was transformed forever. After years on a spiritual quest to find out why God saved her, she found forgiveness, self-worth, and grace. The first chapter gives scientific research about deep water, swimming and drowning. Also shared is the technique that the author practiced in the ocean to control her breath, that helped her stay alive as long as she did. The second chapter goes into a childhood of abuse and abandonment plus accidents and eating disorders, all before adulthood. The last chapter goes into life's meaning. The author shares energy healing directions as a loving gift, given upon returning to life. The pilgrim's path she traveled, finally led her to renewed faith, hope, and eternal peace. Here is an excerpt: 'In the next moment, I was floating among the stars. I was very self-aware and knew I was still alive. I had crossed over to 'the other side'. Words were filling my mind as I realized I was being spoken to about spirit consciousness. It was as though the words were carved in stone, with the stone being my soul and God carving the words.'

Jennifer T Webb was born traveling. Her family moved each year when she was a child so when she grew up, she became a traveler. Eventually, she went to Puerto Rico, a United States island commonwealth located in the Atlantic Ocean, with the Caribbean Sea at it's Southern borders. For her, it was the most beautiful place she had ever seen. One night she was swept away by a gigantic, post-hurricane wave, in Rincon, the surfing capital of the surrounding islands. When she was taking her last breath, she had a near-death experience. This out-of-body experience and supernatural event transformed her life completely and left her with 'fatal longing' (an NDE term) to return to the afterlife. After traveling as a pilgrim, she finally realized that she was glad to be alive. More time went by as she searched for the secrets to life. When she found them, her faith was renewed. After much heartache and loss, she has chosen to get better instead of bitter. Her story is one of redemption, survival, and the triumph of the human spirit over illness' and circumstances, to find peace in living. She is working full-time as a self-publisher. She likes to read, oil paint, make crafts, and finds it a joy to bake cookies and pies!
