Comedy & satire, Short stories | eBook

Teen Essayists are not always Little Lambs When you are the principal of a small firm in its second month of operation, you don’t turn your nose up at an opportunity, even if it smells like disaster. Stinky’s biggest client, measured by the size and number of her pearls, asks Stinky to judge an essay contest at a venerable prep school. Stinky agrees, even though he doesn’t take it seriously, but when bribes and threats start pouring in, he has to be on guard. He discovers that doing the right thing is even more difficult than refusing an expensive pair of earrings that would look stunning on his mother, but Stinky finds a way to be fair when he finally distributes deserved rewards and punishments.

Like Stinky, Peter Grant avoided prep school and enjoyed four happy years of public high school. He and his teachers agreed they were glad it wasn't longer. Some of his high school fiction was published in the school magazine. There weren't as many federal laws then and the place didn't lose its funding, but one thing led to another and now there are sixty-five Stinky titles plus eight collections of stories available on Amazon Kindle.
