A new beginning in their dream house. Karen and Alex are excited to be moving in to the converted chapel in Cornwall, eager to start their lives together they have no idea of the events that are to come. Karen is thrilled to have found love again in mid life and she and her new partner Alex have bought a converted Methodist Chapel in the countryside of North Cornwall. For both of them it is an exciting time, they have fallen in love with the house and are eager to make it their own and enjoy the rest of their lives together but their future is thrown into disarray by the unexpected happenings which occur. Events which confuse and puzzle both them and Karen's beloved dog, Nell create such disturbance that they begin to doubt whether they will have a future at Old Chapel. Trying to find reasons for what is happening Karen makes a journey of discovery into the history of the chapel and she and Alex are forced to examine their own beliefs regarding religion and spirituality. In their quest for answers they are helped by Emily, an elderly lady who encourages them to look at their problems with new understanding and they realise that the answers may well be found in the past rather than the present.

I am lucky to be writing and living in North Cornwall, UK in an old farmhouse with my husband and two cats. I spend my non writing time enjoying the amazing coastline and Dartmoor, and find that long walks really help the creative process.
